A SHED was ablaze when police including the Clandestine Laboratory Squad executed a warrant at a Rushworth property.
As part of an ongoing drug investigation a Cornella property and a Rushworth property were searched.
When police attended the Rushworth property after 1.30pm, a shed was on fire.
A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said units attended the structure fire at 1.50pm, with six vehicles attending at the height of the incident.
‘‘The shed became fully involved and then asset protection was undertaken,’’ the spokesperson said.
‘‘At 2.35pm it was declared safe and under control ... crews were monitoring and mopping up for an hour or so.’’
A visitor to the property arrived at 4pm and was searched by police and later arrested.
A Cornella man, 33, was taken to Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton with burns as a result of the fire.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called and they took a man with minor burns to hospital in a stable condition.
At 5pm, Goulburn Valley Health spokeswoman Carmel Johnson said the man was still being assessed, but remained in a stable condition.

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services are at the scene of an explosion at Clausen Rd, Rushworth.
They were called to the scene at 1.30pm. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the blast.
